What to expect?

What is Evers So Creative Pottery Painting Studio?

Welcome to your creative oasis! Evers So Creative Pottery Painting Studio is where you can transform plain pottery into vibrant works of art. Whether you're a seasoned painter or just looking for a fun activity, our studio is the perfect place to let your creativity shine.

Do I need any painting experience to join a session?

Not at all! Our studio is designed for everyone, from complete beginners to artistic maestros. We are here to guide you and provide tips, so you’ll leave with a masterpiece, no matter your skill level.

What should I wear to a pottery painting session?

Wear something comfy that you don’t mind getting a little paint on. We have aprons to help protect your clothes, but creativity can sometimes be a bit messy! All our paints are completely safe – they are water-based, non-toxic underglazes. Great news, they also wash out of clothing!

Can I bring my own food and drinks to the studio?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring along your favourite snacks and beverages. We want you to be as comfortable and happy as possible while you paint. Just remember to keep your snacks away from your artwork – nobody likes a paint-flavoured biscuit!

How long does it take to complete a pottery piece?

Painting your pottery usually takes about 1 hour, depending on the detail and size of your piece. Your booked session will be 1.5 hours so you should have plenty of time to finish your creation. After you're done painting, we’ll glaze and fire it for you, which takes about approximately 2 -3 weeks. Then, voila! Your colourful design will be ready for pickup.

Can I take my painted pottery piece home right after the session?

We wish you could, but your masterpiece needs a little more time. After you finish painting, we’ll glaze and fire it, which takes around 2-3 weeks. Once it’s all set, we’ll let you know it’s ready for pickup. It’ll be worth the wait!

What if I mess up my pottery painting?

No worries at all! Our motto is “there are no mistakes, only happy accidents.” We our here to help you with any touch-ups or adjustments. Remember, creativity is about having fun and expressing yourself!

How much does it cost to do?

Prices start from as little as £5 for our miniature pieces, average cost is around £10-£15 for mugs, plates, bowls, figurines etc.. and some of our larger items can go up to around £50-£70. There is no studio fee to paint the items or firing cost.

Movie and Paint sessions are an extra £5 for evenings and £2 for our 9am and 2pm daytime viewings.

Is there an age limit for your sessions?

Our studio welcomes creative souls of all ages! We offer sessions tailored for kids, teens, and adults. Check our schedule for specific age group sessions and come join us for some colourful fun!

Collecting your pottery

When can I collect my pottery?

Pottery can take 3-4 weeks to fire, you will receive a message to let you know when your pottery is available to collect.

What times are best to collect my pottery?

Best times for collection are after our painting sessions have started, so we recommend:

🪴 Weekdays: after 10.30am, 12.30pm, or 2.30pm

🎨 Saturdays: after 12pm, 2pm, or 4pm

☕ Sundays: after 11.30am or 1.30pm

Will my pottery be boxed up to collect?

We try to package pots as much as possible, but on occasion we can run out of boxes or bags, and so it's best to bring a bag with you just in case.

Can my pottery be posted?

We do advise collection of pottery as the best option, due to possible breakages during transit.

However, we can post your pottery out, there will be a postage charge based on quantity and weight.

Please note, whilst we do our best to pack your pottery, we cannot be held responsible for breakages during transit.
